1 killed, 1 injured in early Sunday morning shooting in Fort Worth
Police say an after-hours security guard was shot and killed.

Police say they responded to a shooting call in the 4500 block of Miller Avenue in Fort Worth around 5:45 a.m.
Officers arrived on the scene along with the Fort Worth Fire Department to provide medical aid.
A preliminary investigation found that an after-hours security guard crossed the street to a nearby business and began speaking with another person, according to police.
A confrontation ensued and the person shot the security guard, who sustained a fatal injury and died at the scene, police say.
According to police, the shooter also shot a woman who sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was transported to a local hospital.
Police say the shooter fled the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the manner, cause of death, and identity of the deceased.
