Ahead of the weekend, Republican Presidential candidate and Former US President Donald Trump sat for nearly three hours on “The Joe Rogan Experience”. The most listened-to podcast host, Joe Rogan claimed that the “timing was perfect” for a podcast with Trump. After refraining from the conversations for several years, Rogan was inspired to host him after the latter suffered an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The much-anticipated Donald Trump Joe Rogan podcast was recorded in Austin, Texas. It is pertinent to note that Rogan has a large audience base with 14.5 million followers on Spotify and 17.6 million followers on YouTube. The nation’s most popular and tuned podcast host, Rogan is extremely influential with young male voters, a target audience for Trump.

During the podcast, Donald Trump stressed that the biggest mistake he made during his presidency was hiring “disloyal people”. Trump dubbed the presidency job a “very dangerous business”.

Earlier in 2022, in a podcast with Lex Fridman, Rogan said, “I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said ‘no’ every time. I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”
