Acwa announces Al Humaid as Vice Chairman

Riyadh - Mubasher: The board of Acwa Power Company approved, during its 8 April 2026 meeting, the resignation of Raad bin Esmat Al Saadi from his position as the Vice Chairman of the company. 

Acwa's board also agreed to appoint Yazeed bin Abdulrahman Al Humaid as the new Vice Chairman until the end of the current board term, according to a bourse filing.

Meanwhile, Al Saadi will retain his position in Acwa's board as an executive director, Managing Director.

In March 2026, Acwa named Samir J. Serhan as its CEO under a planned and structured leadership transition and succession process.
