Trump hilariously turns impeachment tables
by Cheryl K. Chumley · The Washington TimesOPINION:
President Trump, in a Truth Social post, called for Republicans to start impeachment proceedings against House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for comments the New York congressman made following the Supreme Court ruling on the Voting Rights Act.
And this is why MAGA Americans love Trump. He’s hilarious. And unbeatable.
This is what Jeffries said: “[This] decision by the illegitimate Supreme Court majority, strikes a blow against the Voting Rights Act and is designed to undermine the ability of communities of color all across this country to elect their candidate of choice. But we’re not here to step back. We’re here to fight back. … It’s an unacceptable decision, but not an unexpected decision. Because this isn’t even really the [Chief Justice John] Roberts court. It’s the Trump court. And what we would expect from the Trump court is an effort to continue their scheme to suppress the vote and rig the midterm elections and beyond.”
This — after yet another assassination attempt on Trump.
The heavily medicated left doesn’t need much by way of prompting from Democrat leaders to get the old Molotov cocktail-throwing arm warmed up and ready. Talking about illegitimate court rulings and unacceptable judicial decisions while sliding in the vow to fight back is really all it takes.
Trump responded, in traditional Trump fashion.
“Hakeem Jeffries, a Low-IQ individual, said our Supreme Court is ‘illegitimate,’” Trump wrote, The Hill noted. “After saying such a thing, isn’t he subject to impeachment? I got impeached for A PERFECT PHONE CALL. Where are you Republicans? Why not get it started? They’ll be doing this to me!”
Not just to Trump — to his family; to his friends; to his attorneys and defenders; to his supporters.

Democrats have already made fundraising campaigns that have hinted at the vengeance they are planning to take against Trump, should they win back majorities in the midterms.
Jeffries responded to Trump on X by writing, “Jeffries Derangement Syndrome.”
Figures.
That’s all Democrats have — unoriginal comments, unoriginal platforms, unoriginal ideas. If they didn’t have Trump to hate, they wouldn’t have any campaign platforms at all.
