WATCH: Democrats don’t really care about the homeless
by Cheryl K. Chumley · The Washington TimesOPINION:
Democrats love to pretend they care about the little people — the down-and-out, the downtrodden, the drug addicts, the homeless. But they don’t. Not really. All they really want to do is throw some money at the homeless problem and hope it all goes away.
And when it doesn’t — the Democrats just move from the homeless encampments in the streets, so they don’t have to see them any longer.
See no evil, hear no evil; there must be no evil. That’s the Democrat way.
Bill O’Reilly, host of No Spin News, posted at NoSpin.BillOreilly.com and on The First TV, reported from San Francisco for a NewsNation special and found: the city’s in shambles. The homeless have taken over city streets. And people are afraid to walk near the encampments because of the drug-addicted roaming freely about the city.
The Democrats are to blame, he said.
They don’t care about the homeless, and they don’t care about America, he said.
And he offered up solutions for saving other cities in America from suffering the same devastating fate as San Francisco. Like what?
Look to Singapore, O’Reilly said. Singapore’s solution for drug addicts could be reworked and used in America, and that would keep many of these homeless from becoming homeless in the first place, he said.
