Letter to the editor: Treason should be punished

OPINION:

Whatever happened to dealing with treason?

Sure, we slap down people who leak classified information — hopefully, disgraced Joe Kent, former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, will soon get his day in court — but how do you deal with an entire political party that cheats the system to place devout anti-Americans into places of power?

Through illegal voting, mail fraud and ballot stuffing, the Democratic Party (aka the Communist Party) is slowly destroying the country from within. As a whole, they have committed treason.

In a perfect world, they would be locked up for life (or worse, if we treated treason like it should be treated). How do we stop these lunatics from getting into power? Through passing the SAVE America Act. Still, spineless Republicans and the party of treason will fight that passage tooth and nail.

When will our country get tough and make examples through the justice system of these enemies of America?
