Chairman Wontumi’s lawyer, Andy Appiah Kubi has disclosed that plans are far advanced towards him exiting the Wontumi case.

Andy Appiah Kubi made his intention known while speaking to the media after the Criminal Court dismissed a motion to withdraw from the ongoing Sambreboi illegal mining case involving Chairman Wontumi and two others.

According to Appiah Kubi, even though the Criminal Court 4 dismissed a motion by him to withdraw legal services for Chairman Wontumi in the Samreboi illegal mining case, there are so many ways to kill a cat.

He shared that, at the moment, “My next step is to file a notice of withdrawal to take myself out of the case”.
