Ashantes and Ewes have been chopping themselves- Rashad opens keys

GH Page boss, Rashad Emmanuel, has said that the brouhaha between Ewes and Ashantes should be swept under the carpet.

Speaking during the recent episode of his “Rash Hour” show, which aired across GH Page’s socials, Rashad reacted to comedian OB Amponsah’s post about the minister for Culture, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie.

The comedian took to his official Facebook to take a swipe at the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts over reasons best known to him.

Comedian OB Amponsah posted a video of the minister and focus and labeled her Minister of TouEweism, a post that made him face significant social media backlash in May 2026.

Reacting to the post, Rashad said that he was confused and didn’t understand why following OB Amponsah’s post, both Ashantis and Ewes were angry at each other, and fire was shot at the other anytime an opportunity was gotten.

Despite fighting and firing shots at each other, Rashad shared that these two ethnic groups have been sleeping with themselves, just that it is done behind the scenes.
