Married woman declared missing discovered in a hotel room

A 42-year-old married woman who was reported missing in Ondo State has been found safe, bringing an end to concerns raised by her sudden disappearance.

The woman, identified as Tilewa Olatunde Funke, was reported missing after she left Ilara-Mokin, allegedly on her way to Akure.

Her disappearance sparked worry among family members, prompting a search operation to locate her.

According to police reports, she was eventually traced to a hotel room in Ugbe-Akoko, where she was found in the company of a 55-year-old man identified as Isa Alaba.

Authorities have clarified that the woman was not abducted, emphasising that she had travelled on her own accord.

The police further urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information, noting that such reports can create unnecessary panic and confusion.
