A baffling and inexplicable event has been captured on camera that has left social media users jaw dropped.

A customer with a flagged “Post No Debit” (PND) Naira account and an “Arrest on Sight” directive reportedly vanished into thin air while under close surveillance by bank security and the police.

According to an official report from the branch, the customer entered the bank to complain about being unable to transact.

Upon verifying the account status, the bank staff discovered he was into fraud and immediately called for his arrest.

Following the police’s instructions, they were made to detain the customer on-site while waiting for the police team to arrive.

To prevent the customer from leaving, the staff handed him over to the Mobile Police (MOPOL) officer on duty.

Despite efforts to hold him in the banking hall, the customer became agitated and repeatedly threatened to leave.

While the MOPOL officer maintained a close watch, the unthinkable happened: the customer allegedly disappeared without a trace.

When questioned, the bank’s chief security officer confirmed that the customer had not simply escaped or evaded capture but had vanished entirely.

This prompted the staff to review the bank’s CCTV footage, which, to their astonishment, corroborated the security officer’s account.

The CCTV footage which is now widely discussed shows the customer gradually fading out of view until he is no longer visible on camera.
