Ghanaian musician, Captain Smart has stood in the defence of the incumbent NDC government to fire shots at Ghanaians who are dragging the First Gentleman of the country.

The dancehall musician believes that it makes no sense for Ghanaians to drag and speak anyhow to the president of the country because of “Dumsor”.

He stressed that, the Akosombo Dam, which is the main source of power supply to Ghanaians is burnt, and the only thing that could be done is to fix it.

However, the musician expressed shock at how Ghanaians are denigrating the president among other public officials unnecessary for the rampant “Dumsor”.

Captain Planet questioned Ghanaians about what they really want the president to do, asking, “Akosombo, the main source of power is burnt, so if the place is damaged, what do you expect the government to do? Isn’t it time to repair it and replace the old transformers? Or you want Mahama to put wires in his mouth to generate electricity?”
