Security czar vows to tackle protests ‘once and for all' amid PTI, JI planned Islamabad marches

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the government will adopt a permanent strategy to deal with upcoming protests by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamaat-e-Islami, warning that the country will not be allowed to remain shut for 10 to 20 days as a result of demonstrations.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Naqvi said the government would take measures “once and for all” to prevent a repeat of such situations.

“This time, it will not happen that they [protesters] come and the country remains closed for 10 or 20 days,” he said.
