Multi-vehicle crash shuts down EB US 60 near Higley Road Wednesday morning

MESA, AZ — A portion of US 60 is shut down in Mesa after a crash early Wednesday morning.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say the crash happened near Higley Road, shutting down eastbound lanes of traffic.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and we are awaiting confirmation on the extent of the reported injuries.

There is no estimated time to reopen the freeway.
