Person stabbed, seriously injured in Seattle’s Central District

A woman was stabbed and seriously injured in Seattle’s Central District Thursday night, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The woman was stabbed about 7 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Jackson Street. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where she underwent emergency surgery.

Police are searching for a 21-year-old female suspect who officers and a King County sheriff’s office K-9 team could not immediately find, police said.
