Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi presented the U.S. response to President Masoud Pezeshkian at a Cabinet meeting, a government spokesperson told the state-run IRNA news agency.

Trump earlier rejected the proposal when speaking to the press, but Iran had been awaiting an official response via Qatari mediators.
