DND News Report: A 35-minute-long Urdu language documentary available in social media examining the security and governance situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has raised serious questions over the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial government’s policies, administrative performance and response to the resurgence of terrorism in the province. It also indicates that PTI since its formation believes in dividing society into groups and pitching groups against state institutions and such conduct of the party is surely harming the country in different ways. Monitoring Desk: As negotiations failed between the federal government and the ruling PML-N and PTI leadership in Islamabad, PTI began its long march early morning on October 4, 2026, from Gandi Chowk in Lakki Marwat, led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi. CM Afridi blamed the federal government for failing to seize the opportunity for negotiations, while security circles and the Interior Ministry said negotiations failed because PTI refused to accept the federal government’s demands to openly stand against terrorism.
