Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sola Enikanolaiye, disclosed that the government is seeking a permanent, continental solution to the recurring anti-migrant violence, which he said, is undermining the continent’s solidarity and brotherhood.

This was confirmed in a press statement signed by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, on Wednesday.

The Minister also referred to the claim by the South African government that the violence is only directed at illegal immigrants as false.
