This is contained in a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson,  Bayo Onanuga, on Saturday in Lagos, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during President Bola Tinubu’s UK visit.

We reiterate that media organisations should seek clarification when uncertain about any issue to avoid misinforming the public.

"Nowhere in the 12-page memorandum is Nigeria required to accept foreign nationals other than Nigerians."
