In 2019, Anil Deshmukh of the Nationalist Congress Party won the seat by defeating Charansing Babulalji Thakur of the Bharatiya Janata Party with a margin of 17057 votes.

Solapur City Central Assembly Election 2024: Solapur City Central has been a Congress bastion since it came into existence in 2008. Congress candidate Shinde Praniti Sushilkumar has been winning the seat. However, this time Congress has changed its candidate in the constituency.

Shirdi Assembly Election 2024: BJP's Radhakrishna Eknath Rao Vikhe Patil is the incumbent MLA from the seat. He has won every election since 1995 but on different party tickets including Shiv Sena, Congress and the BJP.

Parli Assembly Election: The Parli Assembly seat has been a stronghold of the BJP. However, in the last election, NCP won in the constituency. Accordingly, Ajit Pawar's NCP has got the seat to contest under the Mahayuti coalition seat-sharing plan.

Badnera Assembly Election 2024: In the 2019 elections, independent candidate Ravi Rana won the Badnera seat by defeating Band Priti Sanjay of Shiv Sena. Rana secured 90,460 votes, while Sanjay got 74,919.
