The Kachin State Government has provided more than 5,000 bags of rice to internally displaced people (IDPs) staying in 41 temporary displacement camps in Kachin State. The aid distribution ceremonies were held at the Manaw Shwe Pyi Hall in Myitkyina on August 29 and September 1. Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan handed over the rice to displaced residents.
