DMH warns of potential severe weather with heavy rains and strong winds across regions
The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) has issued a special warning of possible heavy rains and strong winds in some regions and states due to moving whirlwinds and atmospheric disturbances from the South China Sea. The DMH reports that this weather instability is likely to occur between November 6 and November 8. It is caused by whirlwinds moving in from the South China Sea, warm winds from the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea, and cool air from a high-pressure area over China, leading to instability in the southeastern Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea.
