A Light Truck driver has been charged under Section 505 (a) of the Penal Code after filing a fabricated armed robbery report in Mudon Township, Mon State. On 11 September, U Si Thu from Kamawet reported to the Mudon Myoma Police Station that unidentified gunmen had held up his vehicle and two passenger cars near Tarpathon village, allegedly looting K9 million and mobile phones. A subsequent police investigation revealed the claim was entirely false.
