112 Myanmar Nationals Repatriated from Thailand After Completing Sentences
A total of 112 Myanmar nationals who had completed prison sentences in Thailand were repatriated from Ranong and arrived in Kawthaung, southern Myanmar, on July 7, according to local authorities. The returnees, comprising 87 men and 25 women, had been detained at the Immigration Detention Center (IDC) in Ranong after serving their sentences. They were transferred to Myanmar via eight motorboats under the supervision of Myanmar Labour Attaché U Aung Soe Than, based in Ranong.
