The deep depression is currently beginning to cross south of Kyaikto in Mon State, near the mouth of the Sittaung River, and has therefore been classified as being at the Brown Stage, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology. The deep depression is expected to continue moving through Bago, Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw, Magway and Mandalay regions over the next 48 hours.
