A pavilion for walking Thingyan is being built on Panchan Road next to Maha Bandoola Park in Yangon for the 2026 Myanmar Traditional Maha Thingyan Festival. “The mayor’s pavilion is being built in front of the city hall, and a pavilion for walking Thingyan is being built next to the park. This place is a place where walking Thingyan is being held. Last year, the national level of the festival was canceled due to the earthquake. We are happy that preparations are being made for it to be held again this year,” said a nearby resident.
