Two Houses Destroyed in Myitkyina Fire Sparked by Domestic Argument
Two houses were destroyed in a fire after a husband allegedly burned clothes during an argument with his wife in Myitkyina Township, according to reports. The incident occurred at around 3:20 p.m. on May 8 in Auk Mawphaung Village, Ward (1), on Aung Maw Zan Monastery Road. A married couple reportedly got into an argument, and the husband allegedly set fire to clothing, causing the flames to spread to a nearby bamboo wall.
