The Labor Attaché Office in Bangkok has announced that Certificate of Identity (CI) issuance centers will be opened starting February 17 for Myanmar migrant workers holding Thai government-issued work permits. The move is part of a joint effort between the Ministry of Labour of Thailand and the Ministry of Labour of Myanmar to ensure that Myanmar workers with valid Thai work permits can reside and work legally in Thailand. CI processing will be carried out in Samut Sakhon, Samut Prakan, Surat Thani, Chiang Mai and Chonburi.

The Myanmar Labour Attaché Office in Bangkok announced that the Certificate of Identity (CI) issuance centers for Myanmar migrant workers holding work permits issued by the Thai government will open from February 17. In order to ensure that Myanmar migrant workers holding work can legally reside and work in Thailand, the two ministries of labor of Myanmar and Thailand will jointly conduct the CI issuance process in Samut Sakhon, Samut Prakan, Surat Thani, Chiang Mai and Chonburi from February 17.
