Trees have fallen in Mon State due to strong winds as a deep depression is expected to pass through the region, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department. At around 3 p.m. on September 28, heavy rain and strong winds caused trees to fall and block roads in Kyaikkhami town in Thanbyuzayat Township, particularly on Bogyoke Road in Myoma Market Ward, as well as at the junction of Mon Min Road and Thayet Taw Road in Mawlamyine Township.
