Myanmar and Thailand have discussed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the electricity and energy sectors soon. The discussions took place on the afternoon of August 6 between Myanmar's Union Minister for Electric Power and Energy U Ko Ko Lwin, who accompanied President U Min Aung Hlaing on his official visit to Thailand, and a Thai delegation led by Thailand's Energy Minister, Mr. Akanat Promphan.
