Myanmar's presidential spokesperson said discussions were held during President U Min Aung Hlaing's recent visit to China on the possibility of launching a satellite in the near future for agricultural development, environmental conservation, and meteorological monitoring. Dr. Khine Khine Soe, spokesperson for the President, made the remarks while responding to media questions regarding the state visit undertaken by President U Min Aung Hlaing to China from June 15 to 19 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
