Low-Pressure Area Likely Over Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal in Late June
The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) has forecast that a low-pressure area may develop once over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal during the third 10-day period of June, with above-normal rainfall expected in some regions and states. According to the weather outlook for the third 10-day period of June 2026, one low-pressure area is likely to form over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal. The southwest monsoon is expected to remain moderate over both seas, while cloud cover is forecast to range from partly cloudy to mostly cloudy conditions.
