Myanmar is expected to begin offering 5G services in the near future, Deputy Minister U Thet Win Aung for Digital Development and Communications said. He made the remarks during a meeting with representatives of mobile telecommunications operators and internet service providers at the Hanthawaddy Office in Sanchaung Township, Yangon Region, on September 20. The deputy minister also urged continued cooperation in the ongoing effort to systematically clear tangled telecommunications cables across Yangon.
