A driver has been arrested and charged after his vehicle struck and killed two pedestrians on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway and he allegedly fled the scene, according to the Expressway Maintenance, Repair and Supervision Committee. The incident occurred at around 8:35 pm. on September 29 between mileposts 68/4 and 68/5 on the Yangon-bound lane. A black Toyota Noah travelling from Nay Pyi Taw towards Yangon hit two men from behind as they were walking along the roadside.
