Large numbers of protected fish have died in Mingala Shankan in Pyinmana due to extreme heat, according to the Moe Zaytana Charity Association. The fish deaths reportedly began on the morning of May 7. Members of the charity group believe the deaths were caused by rising temperatures linked to the ongoing hot weather conditions.
