New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communication Team member George Opoku Amponsah has rejected claims that Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, was convicted of illegal mining, insisting that no such evidence was established before the court.
