PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island >> Law enforcement officers are investigating a ​link between a ‌mass shooting at Brown University in Providence that killed two people ‌last weekend and the shooting death of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor two days later near Boston, a person familiar with the matter said.

Earlier this week, an FBI official said authorities did not believe there was a link between the shooting ‍at Brown and the murder of an MIT professor.

A man who is suspected of killing two and wounding several others at Brown University has been found dead in a New Hampshire storage facility, officials said. Claudio Neves Valente, 48, a Brown student and Portuguese national, was found dead Thursday evening from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Col.
