June 26 (UPI) -- A small plane crashed into the tallest building in Beijing Friday, social media video and eyewitness reports have shown.

An aircraft about the size of a car crashed into the CITIC ​Tower on Friday, two bystanders told Reuters, as police closed off roads around the building and stopped passersby from filming.
