The parents of deceased IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode alleged that he had told them about caste-based discrimination and urged authorities to ensure justice and take action against the professor named in the FIR.

Sahil Wakode's father has demanded the arrest of IIT Bombay professor Suryanarayana Doolla and Director Shireesh Kedare, alleging caste-based harassment and threats against his son. The Mumbai Crime Branch is examining CCTV footage and other evidence after Sahil's death, while the allegations remain under investigation.
