The death toll in the Kolkata Taratala godown collapse has increased to eleven. An under-construction factory shed collapsed, trapping several workers and labourers underneath. The massive undercover shed, constructed using heavy iron grills and steel materials, fell directly on the victims. Questions are being raised regarding the safety measures implemented for workers during the under-construction stage of the factory.
