Tamil Nadu approaches SC against High Court order on quota for Islam converts
Tamil Nadu has approached the Supreme Court against a Madras High Court ruling quashing its 2024 order on BCM reservation for converts to Islam. The state says conversion does not remove social disadvantage and that the policy protected existing quota benefits.
