TMC candidate Jahangir Khan withdraws from Falta repolling amid allegations of electoral malpractice and BJP support.

Trinamool spokesperson Arup Chakraborty said the party has received information about Jahangir Khan's decision to withdraw from Falta bypoll, but is yet to get clarity on what prompted it.

Two days before the repolling at Falta Assembly constituency, Trinamool Congress candidate and Abhishek Banerjee’s aide Jahangir Khan announced on Tuesday that he will not contest any further elections.
