Noted writer and International Booker Prize winner Banu Mushtaq took part in a night-long protest held in Hassan on Friday, extending her support to the students’ protest across the country over the NEET-UG paper leak issue.

Preity Zinta has backed students protesting in Delhi over NEET irregularities and urged the government to speak to Sonam Wangchuk. Her intervention came as the movement widened after the Chalo Sansad clashes and calls for education reform intensified.
