In separate letters addressed to BJP President JP Nadda and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, the Election Commission has sought their responses to the complaints made by the rival party. 

The BJP has written to the Election Commission, seeking a First Information Report against Congress's Rahul Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, over what they have called 'lies" against the BJP and the RSS.
