Police have launched a major search operation in Co Wicklow as part of the long-running investigations into the disappearance and murder of two women, Jo Jo Dullard and Deirdre Jacob.

It is the latest search as part of the probe into the disappearance of the two women.

The searches are taking place near the Wicklow/Kildare border after the Defence Forces assisted gardaí in completing a technical ground survey in the area last week.
