Mr Obasa secured the party’s ticket during the APC primary election held on Saturday at Ward E, Oyewole Primary School in Agege, where party members turned out in large numbers to endorse his candidature.

The speaker, a sixth-term lawmaker, said party leaders in the constituency encouraged him to seek the House of Representatives position.
