The safety of robo-taxis is under scrutiny after a mother found a stranger hiding inside a Waymo vehicle sent to pick up her daughter. Police removed and questioned the man. Waymo called the incident unacceptable and said it is reviewing safety measures after learning the man entered through an open trunk.
