The Court of Appeal earlier this week refused to reveal the identity of the former TD.

Former Fianna Fáil TD Jim Glennon has confirmed that he submitted a character reference for Daniel Ramamoorthy, a former government adviser who was convicted of the sexual exploitation of a 13-year-old boy in 2017.

The court today dismissed Daniel Ramamoorthy’s appeal against his two year and four month sentence for sexually exploiting a 13-year-old boy.

A former Department of Enterprise adviser, who was jailed for sexually exploiting a 13-year-old boy at a children’s camp, is appealing the sentence.
