Minister for Law and Energy Resources R. Nirmalkumar said the launch of Thai Maaman Gold Ring Scheme in Madurai by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay was a joyful occasion for the people of Madurai. Speaking to reporters after inspecting the arrangements made for the scheme’s launch at Madurai Government Rajaji Hospital, he said: “It is a matter of great joy that the Thai Maaman Gold Ring Scheme is being launched in Madurai. The Chief Minister, who has won the affection of the people of Madurai, is coming here as their brother. It was the CM’s personal wish to launch this scheme in Madurai.”
