From The Hindu Archives, July 9, 1976: Based on the findings of a survey conducted by it, the Consumer Council of India, has claimed that most of the toothpastes manufactured and marketed by multinational corporations in the country are only tooth-cleaners without containing any ingredient to prevent diseases of the gums.
