The High Court of Karnataka has deprecated the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for its changed stance, contradictory to its earlier recommendation for grant of Transferable Development Rights (TDR) for acquiring land outside the city for establishing garbage treatment plant.
